Project details:
- Front-end/back-end development/server configuration; Linux/Apache; LDAP; HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, MooTools; Drupal CMS; worked directly under Network Administrator
- Developed the Virtual School Portal as a means to streamline an array of Learning Software throughout the district. This portal provides tutorials/professional development to teachers and students in addition to its core responsibilities.
- Developed the new district website to better involve the community and local schools in the district’s activities and policies.


The K21 System, built on Dokeos LMS, is a virtual classroom and asset management system modded to serve the 1:1 laptop initiative in the KGBSD schools.

- Front-end/back-end development; HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Dokeos LMS modification, records import (PowerSchool to MySQL via ODBC connectivity)
- A Learning Management System built on top of Dokeos LMS that was designed to support the one-to-one computer initiative (a computer in every child’s hand) for the Middle School in Ketchikan, Alaska.
- Provides basic computer training to Middle School students.
- Becomes asset management software to school Administrators and rolls-over each new school year.
This is a custom built CMS designed to handle the functions of a statewide correspondence program.

- Fast Track Virtual School was started in order to reach out to students and families needing distance education services.
- FTVS provides instant reports to the State of Alaska; including financial, asset, and grade statistics for students and families enrolled in the program.
- FTVS includes learning management software and curriculum mapping software for students in need of credit recovery.
